Sari Karplus got her storytelling start as a comedian and filmmaker in Los Angeles. But when an improvised bedtime story to her three young children inspired her first kids' book, she officially joined the ranks of the book writing world. Sari loves to create stories with fun journeys and teachable moments, with a healthy side of humor. Squirrels in Antarctica is Sari's fourth book. Her first three are in the Robotastic! series. "Sari" rhymes with "Mary." Sari loves rhyming.
Todd Wilkerson is an actor/illustrator or is it illustrator/actor. It depends on the month. He most recently illustrated the book, The Boy Who Loves Boxes, and most recently was seen on the ABC TV show, Not Dead Yet. He is a New Yorker who has lived in Los Angeles for the past 15 years with his two daughters, one wife and one dog.
